I decided in an effort to catch up that I would post February and March income reports together.
The past 2 months I created a couple of new apps (based off of the same codebase). Vote for the President Widget and NCAA Tournament Widget. The concept is to allow users to vote for their favorite presidential candidate or ncaa tournament team. It will also show a widget to decorate your homescreen if you wish. I didn't spend a lot of time on these apps and other than that I have done very little coding the past two months. I did fix the screen layout on very small landscape screens for my 30 Day Relationship Challenge app.
Drunk Green Robots game that I have made most of my money from so far has been slowing down. After the initial boom in downloads and in app purchases following a review on android central the downloads have been on the decline. This month I am going to spend time adding the cheat mechanism that I promised users I would deliver. This should allow me to see additional in-app revenue from existing users who are playing the game. After adding that I may try to get another review to kickstart the downloads again.
The good news is that my money from advertising has been going up. My 30 Day Relationship Challenge app brings in most of the ad revenue. I continue to see a decent number of daily downloads and my active users and ad impresions are gradually rising. I also added this app to the Amazon Appstore about the second week of March and have seen an additional 1,534 downloads from there. That puts me around 17k total installs for that app.

Where can I purchase your book, "Genius Android Marketing," in EPUB format?
ReplyDeleteIt actually isn't my book. I reviewed it for another Android Developer and gave away a couple copies on my blog. You can go to his site http://geniusandroid.com/ and purchase it from there.
DeleteAhhh, okay. Thanks for your quick response!
